The Path Of Social Inclusion Of The Elderly Immigrants From The Perspective Of Active Aging

With the rapid rise of China’s urban economy,the scale of the floating population has expanded rapidly.Many young migrants on the one hand want to take better care of their parents and on the other hand take care of their young children.In this context,many old people leave their original residence and come to the place where their children work to start a new life,becoming elderly immigrants.With the increase of the average life expectancy of the elderly,more and more elderly immigrants are eager to participate in social activities,take advantage of their own advantages to participate in society,realize their own value,and enhance their sense of integration into the local area.At the same time,the academic circle calls for the establishment of a positive outlook on aging,emphasizing the full play of the potential of the elderly,to achieve the elderly have a promising future.Therefore,active aging has gradually become the only way for the elderly to integrate into the society,and also the only way for the aging of the population in China.Therefore,in view of the above background,this paper combining quantitative and qualitative study,emphatically analyzes the trailing the old man’s social integration intention and its influence factors,research the trailing the old society into the current situation and problems,and design in the frame of the active aging trailing the old man’s social integration path,thesis research content is as follows:Through descriptive statistics,correlation analysis,factor analysis and binary Logistic regression analysis on the China Migrants Dynamic Survey,the following conclusions can be drawn: more than half of the elderly immigrants are willing to stay in local areas;The main factors that affect the social integration will of the elderly immigrants include ethnicity,household register,mobility range,the duration of residence local,total income in the past year,economic development factor,volunteer activity factor,urban integration factor and identity factor.Through offline random interviews with 23 elderly immigrants in Guangzhou and Shenzhen,the following conclusions are drawn: most of them move passively with their children,and nearly half of them long to return to their hometown but choose to stay passively considering the needs of their children.The degree of economic integration is low,the degree of social interaction and participation is not high,there is a value conflict with the children,low degree of psychological integration.Combining the above conclusions,from the perspective of active aging,the elderly immigrants face the following problems in social integration: the dual pressure of physical and mental health;social participation is trapped in a predicament;the scope of protection is small,and the protection is weak.Therefore,the multi-parties should work together to ensure the rights of the elderly immigrants in the strange land from the three aspects of health,participation and protection.Physical and mental health is the basis for the social integration of the elderly immigrants,and promoting participation is a prerequisite for the social integration of the elderly immigrants.Increasing protection is the fundamental guarantee for the social integration of the elderly immigrants.
