Study On Industrial Transformation Countermeasures In Qian’an City

Industrial transformation is an important public management issue facing the economic development of resource-based cities.As a county-level resource-based city in the northern part of Hebei Province,Qian’an City has been emerged from iron ore and risen because of steel.Relying on abundant iron ore resources,a single industrial structure dominated by mining and steel industry has been formed during the past few decades.In recent years,the resource reserves have been decreasing year after year,and the development environment has changed profoundly,and the sustainability of economic development is facing challenges.It is urgent to implement industrial transformation and build a diversified industrial system to achieve sustainable development of the city.The thesis takes the industrial transformation countermeasures of Qian’an City as the research subject and studies it from the perspective of sustainable development.It carries out a systemic analysis of the conception and relevant theories of industrial transformation of resource-based city,and the sustainable development of resource-based cities.It also analyzes the process and advantages of industrial transformation in Qian’an City.Problems and causes of industrial structure,resources and environment,technological innovation,policy implementation have been analyzed objectively.Based on the above analysis,combined with the experience and the enlightenment of typical resource-based cities’ industrial transformation at home and abroad,the thesis has proposed countermeasures and suggestions to further promote the industrial transformation of Qian’an City from four aspects: cultivating and expanding diversified industries,adopting effective governance measures,intensifying scientific and technological innovation,and further strengthening the role of government guidance.
