Research On The Inheritance Of The Red Gene In Young Soldiers Of Grassroots Units

The red gene is a collection of ideas and behaviors that embody the advanced quality of the Chinese Communist Party,such as ideals,beliefs,spiritual outlook,glorious tradition and exemplary conduct.It is the core of the Chinese communists’ spirit,embodies the strong revolutionary spirit and highlights the essence of advanced culture.They have been condensed by the Chinese people in the long-term struggle under the CPC’s leadership.As the main body of the people’s army,young soldiers are the future of the people’s army and the important force to realize the goal of building stronger army.They are the important successors and inheritors of the red gene.In the face of complex and volatile situations and tasks with the impact of the integrated media era,young soldiers must not only fully understand the significance of inheriting the red gene,but also shoulder historical mission of maintaining the red gene and people’s army.Therefore,it is of profound significance to study the inheritance of the red gene among young soldiers in grass-roots units.This paper believes that red is a national symbol with Chinese characteristics,is a symbol of light,but also the flag of leadership;The red gene,is the people’s army’s trait,is the inheritance "the root and the soul" blood line.the basic connotation of the red gene in the army includes five aspects.They are the loyalty of dedicating to the Party’s leadership,the aims and purposes to serve the people,the fighting spirit that dares to fight and win,the true qualities of hard struggle and the iron law with strict military discipline.On the basis of profound analysis,which had great significance in the inheritance of the red gene by young soldier in grass-roots units,the current situation of the inheritance of the red gene by young soldiers in grass-roots units was discussed through questionnaires,interviews and other means.By analyzing and studying the survey data,the paper sorted out problems existing in the inheritance of the red gene among young soldiers in grass-roots units and causes of the problems.Finally,the paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions in five aspects to solve the problems of young soldiers with inheriting the red gene.They included the improvement of top-level design,the emphasis on theoretical education,the strengthening of practice,the strong military compound culture and the importance of role model.
