Research On The Inheritance Of The Red Gene In The Work Of The Young Pioneers

General Secretary Xi Jinping said,“We must tell the story of the party,the Red Army,and the West Route Army,and carry on the red gene well(1).” The red gene is the spiritual core with unique Chinese characteristics that eventually evolved under the guidance of the Chinese Communist Party in Marxism,drawing on the spiritual nutrients of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and through the continuous accumulation,creation,and testing of the practice of Chinese revolution,construction and reform.The red gene is both real and historical.With the changes of the times,the red gene is enriched and sublimated.Young Pioneers work to inherit the red gene,the full excavation and integration of the educational function and educational value of red gene,ensuring the inheritance of red gene and continuously improving the sense of honor,mission,and responsibility of children and youth,is conducive to promoting the new development of the work of the Young Pioneers in the new era.This article takes "the research on the inheritance of the red gene in the work of the Young Pioneers" as the theme and comprehensively uses research methods such as interdisciplinary research methods,questionnaires and interviews.Starting from the concept and connotation of the work of the Red Gene and the Young Pioneers,the theoretical origin and characteristics of red gene,the theoretical basis and content of young pioneers’ work.Based on this,the necessity and feasibility of the Young Pioneers’ inheritance of the red gene are explained,which lays the theoretical foundation for the research of this article.Then take Chengdu as an example to investigate the status quo of the Young Pioneers’ work inheriting the red gene under the background of the new era,analyze the problems and reasons of the Young Pioneers’ work inheriting the red gene,and form a summary of experience of the Young Pioneers’ work inheriting the red gene.Finally,this paper put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the Young Pioneers’ work to inherit the red gene.Through the study,we found that: First,from the perspective of the importance of inheriting red gene,the effectiveness of children’s receiving red gene education and the activities of inheriting red gene,The overall trend of Young Pioneers’ work inheriting red gene is good,and the work of Young Pioneers has made great achievements in inheriting red gene;Second,the Young Pioneers work has a good trend of inheriting the red gene,but there are problems such as insufficient foundations for the Young Pioneers’ work to inherit the red gene,insufficient effectiveness of the Young Pioneers’ work to inherit the red gene,and insufficient institutional mechanisms for the Young Pioneers’ work to inherit the red gene;Thirdly,It is necessary to further strengthen the "main position" construction,expand the practice base and improve the system and mechanism of the red gene inheritance in the work of Young Pioneers,so as to better lead the children to "hold high the team flag and follow the party",and cultivate the "red children" in the new era.
