| With the transformation of China’s economic development,high-quality development requirements spawned a new proposition to improve the quality of employment.Women as an important part of the workforce,improve their quality of employment can not only help women integrate into society and achieve self-worth,but also help them promote family harmony and social prosperity of the necessary basis.Therefore,the quality of women’s employment should receive wider attention.This article takes female employees as the research object and constructs an index evaluation system from five dimensions: work salary,work intensity,career development,labor relations and social security.Use principal component analysis to extract and empower indicators,and comprehensively measure the employment quality index of female employees.And divide the samples according to urban and rural classification,industry classification and the nature of the work unit to study the heterogeneity of female employment quality.Secondly,from the perspective of human capital,family characteristics and social capital,this article analyzes the impact mechanism of different variables on the employment quality of female employees,and uses the 2018 China Family Tracking Survey(CFPS)data to verify the model.The study found that the overall level of female employment quality is low,and there are problems such as low monthly income,overtime work week,lack of promotion space,labor contract signing,and low social insurance coverage.The study found that the overall level of female employment quality is low,and there are problems such as low monthly income,overtime work week,lack of promotion space,the low proportion of labor contract signing and the social insurance coverage.However,the employment quality of urban female employees in the information dissemination/computer service/software industry or working in a foreign-owned enterprise is generally higher than that of other women.In addition,although marital status and childbirth have a negative impact on the quality of women’s employment,human capital and social capital factors have a significant role in promoting the quality of women’s employment.And the analysis of different employment quality indicator dimensions found that in addition to the two factors of education level and union participation,which have a significant impact on all indicator dimensions,other factors have focused on the impact of different indicator dimensions.These findings can be used to improve female employment in a targeted manner.Finally,based on the results of the empirical analysis of this article,suggestions for improving the quality of women’s employment are proposed from the four perspectives of enhancing women’s human capital and social capital investment,standardizing the employment system,and improving reproductive support policies. |
