Research On Network Populism In China From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

The theoretical content of historical materialism has important theoretical and practical significance for China’s development at this stage.The historical materialism about science and technology as the decisive factor in the development of production,the fundamental role of economic relations in various social relations,and the relative independence of social consciousness,has given a new understanding to our country’s network populism and analysis.Pulpism ranks third among the social thoughts that people are most concerned about in 2020.Among them,network populism is particularly active.Behind the performance of his behavior reflects the many practical problems existing in the current reform process in my country.With the help of scientific theories for active guidance in practice,it has important theoretical and practical value for solving practical problems.Based on the perspective of historical materialism,this article discusses in depth the many problems of our country’s network populism from the three levels of technology,economy and ideology.The article is divided into four parts:The first part primarily narrates the ideological basis and necessity of the research on our country’s network populism from the perspective of historical materialism.Firstly,define the basic concepts of populism and network populism respectively;secondly,explain the theoretical basis used to analyze the main body of network populism: Marx and Engels’ discourse on populism and Lenin’s discourse on populism.Finally,it analyzes our country’s network populism from the three dimensions of technology,economics,and the independence of Internet populism.The second part summarizes the performance and harm of our country’s network populism at this stage.It mainly focuses on three aspects: the popularization tendency of network participants,the normalization of irrational expression in network space,and the extremeization of network groups to develop its specific performance and the harm caused by it.The third part is to analyze the root causes of our country’s network populism from the perspectives of technology,economy and thought.The technical dimension factor is due to the openness and convenience of Internet technology to promote the expansion of the netizen population,and the combination of its virtual characteristics and the psychological characteristics of the netizen population;economic factors originate from the imperfect distribution mechanism in the process of my country’s economic system reform,resulting in the gap between the rich and the poor;ideological factors are influenced by the egalitarian ideology in our traditional culture and the trend of pluralistic society.Through in-depth analysis of its root causes,to further clarify its existing problems.The fourth part aims at the root causes of the formation of cyber populism,and proposes ways to deal with cyber populism from the perspectives of technology,economy and ideology.On the technical dimension,we must standardize the network governance mechanism,on the economic dimension,we must promote fair distribution,narrow the gap between the rich and the poor,and cultivate modern rational citizens from the ideological dimension.Through the excavation and combing of the content of Marxist classic writers and Marxist historical materialism,this article attempts to enrich the theoretical analysis and explanation of Internet populism from the perspective of historical materialism,and to respond to my country’s Internet from the perspective of historical materialism.Populism proposes a reasonable approach.
