| Since the cosmopolitanization of capitalism,the development of globalization has continued to twist.After decades of neoliberal globalization,especially after the 2008 international financial crisis,the world economy under globalization continued to be in a downturn and the recovery was weak.As the leading country of globalization today,the United States has accelerated the process of de-globalization in order to break through the constraints of development,especially after Trump took office.In order to explore the logic of American de-globalization,this article uses Polanyi’s “Double Movement” to build an analytical framework for the reverse movement of American globalization.Whether the United States is globalized or de-globalized depends on the existing”Double Movement”in the United States.One is the economic liberal movement and the other is the reverse social protection movement.The de-globalization of the United States is due to the continuous expansion of market economic activities under neoliberal globalization,damaging the interests of the middle class and the lower-middle working class,intensifying conflicts and confrontations between different classes,and ultimately leading to the occurrence of social protection movements.This article analyzes the economic liberalism movement and the social protection movement in the United States in depth,focusing on prying into the logical basis of the United States’ de-globalization and evaluating it,that is,the United States’ de-globalization has a greater impact on the world and has many limitations,but This trend will not go away for the time being,and the new embedded liberalism globalization plan may become the mainstream. |
