An Exploration Of Anti-globalization Movement

The globalization nowadays is guided by capitalism. The anti-globalization movement is the product of it after its development to a certain extent, and the influence and scales of anti-globalization has led to alternative globalization. The analysis of its background, cause of formation, characteristic and tendency can benefit the improvement of our capability to cope with international situation and to deal with international affairs, can make us go after profit and avoid disadvantage in the aspects of politics, economy, culture and social life; therefore, we can make correct strategic choice, ensure sustainable and stable economical increase, keep the society stable, enhance comprehensive power of state and realize great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The thesis consists of four parts. The first part introduces the connotation of anti-globalization, analyzes the background of anti-globalization movement, and briefly illustrates the reason of its rapid development. The second part generally explains the evolution, the new features after "9-11" Affair, the main ways of its present condition, development trend and its characteristics. Anti-globalization movement has broad social foundation, complicated background, diverse motivation and targets and unbalanced development, so it acts disorderly. The third part expounds the theoretical basis of anti-globalization movement and its foundamental ideas. Its basic theory is divided into affixation theory, globe systematic theory, comparative pitfall theory, exclusive theory, trade protectionism theory and nationalism theory. In the fourth part, the positive and negative meaning of it is mentioned. Our attitude towards it and the basic countermeasures we should take to do with anti-globalization in order to push globalization towards rational direction is elaborated from the internal and international viewpoint.
