| For thousands of years,public safety has always been a problem that legislators need to face.Although in ancient times,public safety was not the primary legal interest to protect,people’s life,health,peace and stability of life were the contents that legislators and rulers of all dynasties and even today need to consider.This paper takes the ancient Chinese Codes of Tang Dynasty as an example,hoping to explore the treatment of ancient crimes endangering public security.Although there are no separate provisions on public security crimes in the Tang code,there are not a few crimes involving public security,which shows that legislators have recognized the social harmfulness of such acts,so they are regulated by law.At present,the scholars of legal history and criminal law have made a lot of research achievements on the the Tang Code and the crime of endangering public security.However,few scholars systematically sort out the crimes endangering public security in Tang law,which means that there is some scope for exploration in relevant aspects.Therefore,the author tries to make full use of the existing research results to make a systematic study on the crimes endangering public security in Tang law.After clarifying the relevant concepts and charges,the author discusses them in detail and analyzes the crime composition,characteristics,crime form,accomplice and other problems of crimes endangering public security in Tang Code.At the same time,combing the judicial practice of the Tang Dynasty can also help to understand the implementation of the legal norms of crimes against public security at that time. |
