With the rapid development of China’s economy, the improvement of people’s living standards, the increase of leisure time and the enhancement of national sports participation awareness, more and more people have begun to participate in sports tourism. The vigorous development of various sports events has also attracted a large number of participants and spectators to participate in sports tourism activities. This trend has virtually strengthened the team of sports tourism participants.Sports tourism has become an important part of the sports industry. The well-being value of forest tourism is also increasingly prominent. With the continuous construction and development of China’s forest parks, thousands of forest parks at all levels provide high-quality tourist destinations for sports participants. In the process of sports tourism industry development, resource entities are an important cornerstone of industrial development, and a reasonable and effective evaluation of it is conducive to better use and development of sports tourism resources. This study mainly uses the analytic hierarchy process to construct the judgment matrix model and statistically obtain the weight value of the index items at various levels, and build the evaluation index system of sports tourism resources in China’s forest parks. The evaluation index system constructed in this study highlights the characteristics of forest parks, provides decision-making basis for the rational planning and development of forest park sports tourism, and further complements and improves the theoretical system of sports tourism resource evaluation. This study uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to conduct empirical research on Beijing Olympic Forest Park to verify the feasibility of the evaluation index system constructed in this study. The evaluation results also provide relevant suggestions for the later development and utilization of Beijing Olympic Forest Park. Here are the findings:1.The research statistics show that the construction of China’s forest park sports tourism resource evaluation index system includes four levels, namely the target level,3 first-level indicators,9 second-level indicators and 27 third-level indicators.2.The weight of sports tourism resource conditions in the first-level indicator layer is the highest(0.441),and the weight of sports tourism resource development and utilization conditions is the lowest(0.2492);the weight of natural environmental conditions of sports tourism resources is the highest in the second-level index layer(0.1933),and the social conditions of sports tourism resource development(0.0631)The lowest;in the three-level index layer, the weight of the forest park suitable period(0.0826)is the highest, the influence of sports events(0.0670)is second, and the weight of policies and regulations(0.0079)is the lowest.3.The empirical research results show that the comprehensive score of Beijing Olympic Forest Park sports tourism resources is 7.5337 points.According to the standard, the Olympic Forest Park is classified as a four-level sports tourism resource, that is,it is an excellent level, and has high development potential and value.Beijing Olympic Forest Park has a comprehensive score of 8 points or more on the three indicators of forest park suitable period, forest park geographic location and sports activity visibility, which has the advantage of development and utilization. The study found that the Olympic Forest Park lacks singular resources(6.53 points)and the value of sports cultural knowledge education is low(6.47 points). The study believes that the later development of the Olympic Forest Park should be based on its own advantages and shortcomings, reasonable use and development.
