| Objective: By observing the effect of myofascial release on pelvic tilt and related muscles in adult men,explore the application prospect of myofascial release technology in the treatment of low back pain in pilots was explored.Methods: 16 adult male subjects were recruited,8 of whom had no history of low back pain(LBP)were divided into N,and 8 of whom had experienced LBP were divided into Y.After completed the 4-hour long simulated flight on the flight simulator,all subject need to receive 30 minutes of myofascial released for pelvic position-related muscle,which include tensor fascia latae,rectus femoris,erector spinae,hip adductors,quadratus lumborum and hamstring,were for.Before and after treatment,X-ray images of were taken to measure the static pelvic position,The three-dimensional infrared high-speed motion capture system was used to measure the dynamic changes of the pelvic position when standing within 30-second,combining two measure to evaluate the Plevic Tilt(PT);The IEMG and MPF of the muscles related to pelvis,which include rectus abdominis,tensor fascia latae,rectus femoris,erector spinae,multifidus,gluteus maximus,biceps femoris and semitendinosus were measured by EMG device synchronous with the three-dimensional infrared high-speed motion capture system to evaluate the muscle activation level and fatigue state;VAS was used to evaluate pain level.Results:(1)After myofascial release,pelvic tilt measured by X-ray or three-dimensional high-speed infrared motion capture were not significant difference.(2)IEMG(u Vs): After myofascial release,The IEMG of left tensor fascia latae(8.78±2.15,13.08±3.53,P < 0.05)and right semitendinosus(5.96±1.76,14.06±11.55,P < 0.05)were significantly improve in the N group,left gluteus maximus(7.64±2.22,10.49±4.24,P < 0.05)and right gluteus maximus(9.36±3.04,11.12±3.86,P < 0.05)were significantly improve in the Y group.(3)MPF(Hz): After myofascial release,The MPF of right gluteus maximus(0.51 ±0.15,0.64 ± 0.11,P < 0.05)and left semitendinosus(0.56 ± 0.22,0.82 ± 0.32,P <0.05)were significantly improve in the N group.(4)VAS: After myofascial release,The pain level of neck(2.38 ± 1.60,1.13 ± 1.13,P< 0.05),low back(3.88 ± 0.10,2.25 ± 2.27,P < 0.05),leg(3.88 ± 0.10,2.25 ± 1.58,P< 0.05)were significantly decrease in the Y group.low back(2.50 ± 2.27,0.75 ± 1.17,P < 0.01)was significantly decrease in the N group.Conclusion: After myofascial release,the position of pelvis was no significantly change.myofascial release can effectively alleviate the gluteus maximus inhibition caused by a long-term flight in patients with low back pain;effectively alleviate the gluteus maximus and semitendinosus fatigue caused by long-term flight;effectively reduce the level of lower back pain caused by long-term flight. |
