A Study On The Way To Improve The Professional Ability Of Counselors In Dali University

The professional ability of college counselors is the quality and ability of counselors in the process of carrying out ideological and political education for college students.It is the professional ability and professional quality that counselors must have in the process of daily ideological and political education and management to help college students grow up healthily and become adults.This paper takes Dali University as an example to study the improvement of counselors’ professional ability,mainly using literature method,questionnaire method,interview method and other research methods,based on the "Standards of Professional competence of counselors in Colleges and Universities(Provisional)" issued by the Ministry of Education,the ideological and political education,party group and class construction,academic reference to the team of counselors in Dali University The ability of guidance,daily affairs management,mental health education and guidance,network ideological and political education,crisis event response,career planning and employment guidance,theoretical and practical research were investigated and analyzed.Due to the short construction time,the instability of the full-time team and the overall low professional ability of the team,the characteristics are as follows :(1)The professional ability of counselors is uneven;(2)The overall level of scientific research ability of counselors is not high;(3)The relevant work theory of counselors is weak;(4)The professional ability of part-time counselors is poor.The main influencing factors are as follows :(1)The limitation of counselor’s major;(2)Scientific arrangement of work tasks,conscientiously implement the relevant treatment;(3)Strengthen the assessment around the professional ability of counselors;(4)Actively participate in different levels of in-school and in-school training;(5)Strengthen learning summary and pay attention to improve themselves in the work.In a word,it is of great significance to strengthen the research on the improvement of the professional ability of the counselors in colleges and universities,to promote the specialization and professionalization of the counselors’ work,to cultivate the responsible and responsible new people of the times,to complete the two hundred-year goals,and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Due to the limited theoretical level,the lack of practical work experience,due to the limitations of the field of vision of investigation and research,the depth and breadth of this study are still very inadequate,there are many problems,can be further explored in the future.
