The network is a very important part in modern society, which is closely related to the life of high school students. At present, the research on the relationship between perception of interparental conflict,self-esteem and internet addiction is not abundant,so it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the relationship among them. This paper mainly studies whether self-esteem has a mediating effect between perception of interparental conflict and internet addiction in the adolescent period of the critical period of the individual’s physical and mental development. This research has used the Chinese version of the parental conflict child perception scale,self-esteem scale and Chinese Internet addiction scale to collected data.Random selections of 1000 high school students from Nanning City and Zhu Madian City were selected as participants, and 903 valid questionnaires were finally collected. Then the data were collected and the statistics were analyzed by using SPSS21.0,the research results are as followed:(1)There were significant negative correlation between high school students’ perception of interparental conflict and self-esteem(p<0.01),significant positive correlation between their perception of interparental conflict and Internet Addiction(p<0.001),and negative correlation between self-esteem and Internet Addiction(p<0.001).(2)The structural equation model was used to fit the relationship model among the high school students’ perception of interparental conflict,self-esteem and Internet addiction, some indexes showed that the fitting degree of the MODEL IS GOOD:(CFI 0.94,GFI=0.95,NFI=0.93,RFI=0.91,IFI=0.94,RMSEA=0.07),all the pathes’ coefficients were consonant with the metrology standards. The results showed that self-esteem has significant mediating effect and direct effect on Internet addiction disorder, the 95% confidence intervals were [0.01,0.05],[0.09,0.20];The direct effect of high school students’ perception of interparental conflict on Internet addiction was 0.15,which was accounting for 86% of the total effect, the indirect effect of high school students’ perception of interparental conflict on Internet addiction through self-esteem was 0.02,which was accounting for 14% of the total effect.According to the discussion of the results, the research conclusions are as followed:Firstly, female students has higher scores than male students in four dimensions which are conflict intensity, conflict frequency, conflict resolution and coping efficacy, and there were obvious differences between male and female students in the two dimensions of conflict resolution and self-attribution,male students has higher score than female students in self-attribution;The high school students who live in the countryside have higher scores than students who live in the city in the six dimensions of conflict perception, and there were obvious differences in their conflict total scores.High school students from divorced families obviously scored higher than those whose parents are in a happy marriage on multiple programs.Secondly, the self-esteem level of high school students in single-child families was significantly higher than that of non-only children families;there were significant differences between the self-esteem of high school students who live in normal marital status and those of adolescents who live in divorced families, and the self-esteem’s level of high school students whose parents are in a happy marriage was significantly higher than that of adolescents whose parents divorced, reorganized or died one of them.Thirdly, there were significant differences between only child family and non-only children family in the dimension of compulsive Internet using, the dimension withdrawal reaction and total score of Internet addiction.High school students whose parents live in a happy marriage had significant differences with those whose parents divorced, reorganized and died one of them in the dimension of time management problems, and the time management problems of normal lying adolescents were significantly less than those whose parents divorced, reorganized and died one of them.Fourthly, there is negative correlation between the high school students’ perception of interparental conflict and self-esteem.It is obvious that a negative correlation is still between the adolescent self-esteem and Internet addiction. And there should be a positive correlation between the high school students’ perception of interparental conflict and Internet addiction.Fifthly, the self-esteem of adolescents plays a part intermediary role between the perception of interparental conflict and Internet addiction, the direct effect is 0.15 and the indirect effect is 0.02.To sum up,self-esteem has a partial intermediary between perception of interparental conflict and Internet addiction.
