| In recent years,the state requires all kinds of vocational schools at all levels to actively carry out a comprehensive reform of curriculum and teaching.STEAM education concept has developed rapidly since its introduction.It emphasizes interdisciplinary learning,in-depth integration of information technology,to solve problems in real situations.As a kind of teaching mode,projectbased teaching is driven by projects,which enables students to solve real problems through handson practice and cooperative learning.The combination of STEAM education concept and projectbased teaching is helpful to the teaching reform of secondary vocational schools,and is one of the important ways to solve the current teaching dilemma of secondary vocational courses.Therefore,taking the course of "image processing" as an example,this paper constructs the project-based teaching mode of secondary vocational school under the concept of STEAM.This paper mainly uses literature research,investigation and experimental research.First of all,the author has a comprehensive understanding of STEAM education and project-based teaching through a large number of references related to the subject at home and abroad.Secondly,through investigation and data collection,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of graphics and image processing,and puts forward the necessity of constructing the project-based teaching mode under the STEAM concept.Taking into account the basic characteristics of secondary vocational school students,using the advantages of STEAM education concept,the project-based teaching mode of secondary vocational school is designed.In the end,a specific teaching case is developed based on the knowledge points in the course of graphics and image processing of computer application major in secondary vocational school and applied to teaching practice,which has achieved good teaching effect and has been unanimously praised by students.It is found that STEAM concept can solve the problems of insufficient information application,lack of interaction in the teaching process,single teaching evaluation method,and lack of creativity of students’ works in the teaching of graphics and image processing.It has a good effect on improving the ability of students’ cooperative communication and problem solving.The teaching mode of this study is designed in consideration of the actual teaching situation in secondary vocational schools,which conforms to the characteristics of secondary vocational students.The introduction of STEAM education concept into secondary vocational education can effectively enhance students’ interest in learning,cultivate students’ comprehensive quality,and facilitate the development of project-based teaching.This study provides reference for the further promotion of STEAM education in secondary vocational schools.In the process of research,the author found that the research related to STEAM education and project-based teaching is still in the initial stage in the field of secondary vocational education.In the future,only if we continue to promote and practice,can we really make a contribution to the reform of secondary vocational education. |
