As the cornerstone of compulsory education,the effective teacher-student interaction in lower grades of primary education has a far-reaching influence on students’ growth.However,there many problems in most classes on teacher-student interaction.Therefore,it is of great significance to do research on teacher-student interaction of primary school.In this study,the CLASS assessment system was used as the tool to score teacher-student interaction,observation,mathematical statistics and case analysis were fully used as research methods and 24 teachers of lower grades in Wenzhou O Primary School were selected as research objects.First,we discussed the quality of teacher-student interaction in lower grades of primary school and differences of teacher-student interaction in seniority,grades,teaching subjects.Then,characteristics of teacher-student interaction in lower grades of primary school were summarized with specific cases.At last,some feasible suggestions for improving the quality of teacher-student interaction in lower grades of primary school were put forward.It was found that,firstly,the overall quality of teacher-student interaction in lower grades of primary school is good;secondly,the interactive ability of teachers in lower grades of primary school possess a strong relation in three dimensions and different relation in ten indicators;thirdly,significant difference was found in different seniority and subjects,but no difference was found in different grades;fourthly,there were some characteristics of teacher-student interaction in lower grades of primary school,for example,teachers paid much attention to create more positive class climate,less sensitive to students,students’ perspectives hardly be respected,laid great emphasis on behavior management,had a variety of instructional learning formats,etc.
