The interaction between teachers and students means the interaction and influence of all kinds of types,nature and content which occur in the classroom,including the ways to deal the teaching materials.The teacher-student interaction is an important part of classroom teaching,relative researches show that the high quality interaction could increase the effectiveness of teaching and promote students' overall development.Elementary school period lays a key foundation of students' physical and mental development,whether teachers can organize high quality interaction becomes one of a key factor for students' development.28 novice teachers come from S Hunan province and their interaction with students in the classroom are the observation,literature,classroom observation and interview are the main methods of this study.The author scored the interaction according to Classroom scoring assessment system(CLASS),basing the tape and record.The conclusion is made basing on the mean,standard deviation,correlation and chi-square test analyzed by SPSS 17.0.The thesis has 5 chapters.Chapter one,introduction,illustrates the research background,literature review,purpose and value,gives definitions to several core concepts,and introduces the research design and methods.Chapter two,clarifies the theory foundation of teacher-student interaction,including the symbolic interaction theory,constructivism learning theory,social association theory and the theories about CLASS.Chapter three,quantitative analysis,analyses the scores of the interaction between teachers and students,including the reliability test about CLASS,the results of scores and correlation.Chapter four,qualitative analysis,lists the main scoring points and makes the features of teacher-student interaction of novice teachers combining some typical cases.There are nine features:teachers are active in creating a better participating atmosphere,the low teacher sensitivity,the ignorance of students' perspectives,the middle-range behavior management,the instructional learning formats are not enough,the low productivity of teaching,the difficulty in developing concept of students,and low-range quality of feedback and the middle-range language modeling.The last chapter five,demonstrates the factors of influencing the interaction between novice teachers and students and then gives some advice of individual teacher professional development.The thesis observes the true class of 28 novice teachers and makes a conclusion of teacher-student interaction that the quality is not high,which results from teachers'education ideas,the level of TPACK and the deficiency of teaching experience and energy.As to teachers,they can develop themselves through changing their philosophy of teaching,improving their teaching reflection and training some defective skills.As one of the newest tools,CLASS has not populated in China.The research is established by teacher-student interaction and then settled in novice teachers' professional development from elementary school,which not only contains teachers' professional development but also enriches the tool of our country,so this research has some innovation both in theory and practice.
