Research On The Populist Behavior Of Colleage Students On The Internet

As a complex social and political phenomenon,populism is a product of particular social transformation.At present,China is currently undergoing a period of drastic transformation in the process of modernization.It is facing some social challenges.Problems such as the gap between the rich and the poor,the crisis of trust,and formalism have bred dissatisfaction among some people.At this time,the rapid development of the Internet and the continuous update of emerging media provided a broad platform for the public to express themselves.Populism took the opportunity to extend from the real world to the cyberspace,manifested as network populism.The behavior of college students’ network populism mainly refers to the extreme non-rational behavior of the university students in the network space.The main forms include the use of the network hot-spot events to the ballads,the blind forwarding,the hatred of the elite groups,the paranoid nationalism and so on.Through the investigation and research,the causes of the formation of the populist behavior of the college students’ network and the social contradictions,the poor effect of the ideological and political education of the school,the weak recognitionof the students’ mainstream consciousness,and the lack of mature network technology supervision are closely related to the reasons.This study focuses on the explanation of the negative effects of online populist behavior of college students,pointing out that this behavior will not only shake the mainstream status of core values,deepen the negative perception of college students,but also weaken the substantive effect of higher education and increase the number of group events.Therefore,it is necessary to grasp the negative effect of the network populism,to prevent the emergence of the populist behavior of the college students’ network,to grasp the social environment,and from the three main subjects of the government,the school and the students,as well as the mature network supervision technology,to construct the cooperative governance mechanism.And form an efficient network social control.In this paper,it is the key to innovate the government’s social governance mechanism,to guarantee the fairness and justice of the social construction,to strengthen the ideological education of the network,to improve the ideological and political education system of the university,to set up the correct value cognition,to strengthen the theoretical accomplishment of the college students,and to optimize the network supervision technology.The enhancement of the quality of the technical personnel is an external guarantee.In the current situation of network populism,it is necessary to ensure the multi-way and multi-pronged approach of the strategy to guidethe students in the new era.
