Research On The Countermeasures Of Ideological And Politicaleducation Against Network Populism For University Students

With the advent of the Internet era,populism has been developing rapidly relying on the rapid spread of the Internet,resulting in a new social trend of thought--cyber populism.It is a new populist trend of thought to achieve some populism political appeals.The thought mainly conveys through the collective participation of netizens and the development of social events,basing on the Internet platform,to spread advice and suggestions,express dissatisfactions,and strive for rights.Cyber populism negatively influences university student's political participation,patriotic behavior and correct cognition from aspects of democracy,ethnicity and culture.Objectively,these effects are highly related to the root of the whole society and the development of the network technology.Meanwhile,the natural characteristics of university students and the absence of university related network populism strategies are all factors leading to the spread of the network populism in university students group.Aiming to this problem,the negative influence of Internet populism on university students could be reduced from three aspects: strengthening national reform and innovation,enriching the content system of ideological and political education,and improving university students' self-management ability.The first part is composed of the background,purpose and significance of the research,the current research situation at home and abroad,and the contents and methods,innovations and difficulties of the research.The second part involves the discussion of the related concepts of network populism,including the definition,characteristics and expression forms.The third part mainly uses the typical case analysis method,highlighting the three manifestations of network populism,then analyzing the negative influence on university students and the causes of it.In the fourth part,based on the negative influence of Internet populism,corresponding countermeasures are proposed,aiming to reduce the negative influence of Internet populism on university students,and better carry out the construction of a harmonious socialist society.
