Research On Ideological Safety Education Of Minority College Students

With the implementation of the national enrollment policy for ethnic minorities,the number of ethnic minority college students has gradually increased.Ethnic minority college students whose words and deeds are obviously exemplary are the elites in ethnic minority areas.They can better disseminate the mainstream ideology of socialism and play an important role in the stability and development of ethnic minority areas.However,severe external environment,such as the intentional temptation of hostile elements,the negative impact of globalization and social transformation,and the unsatisfactory effect of colleges’ideological security education,bring about side effect s on ideological security of minority college students.Colleges and universities should attach great importance to the minority college students’ ideological security education,adhere to the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field,and firmly build the defense line of ideological security of minority college students.Questionnaire survey is mainly used to collect the problems existing in the ideological safety education of Minority College students.The questionnaire mainly includes four aspects:the belief of Marxism,the mastery of political theory,the understanding of western social trends of thought,and the acceptance of Ideological and political theory courses.Through the data analysis of the questionnaire,we find that most minority college students understand the content of our questionnaire and keep the right choice in some important political positions.However,there are still some minority college students who lack the belief in Marxism,do not understand the current political theory,do not correctly understand the trend of thought in Western society and have a low acceptance of Ideological and political theory.In view of these problems,this paper tries to find out the reasons from five aspects:globalization,network,ideological and political courses in Colleges and universities,the conditions of minority college students themselves and the status quo of their families,and finally finds out the corresponding policies in order to guide and educate the ideological security of minority college students positively.
