In recent years,with the popularization of two-child policy and the development of mixed-age education,the peer relationship of mixed-age children has attracted more and more attention.What are the characteristics of interaction among children of different ages? In this study,in an open natural environment--outdoor independent game,observation method,case method and interview method are used to discuss this,and the following problems are mainly solved:1.What are the characteristics of children’s interaction in different theme activity areas? What is the relationship between the theme of activity area and the generation of children’s interaction?2.In outdoor mixed-age independent game activities,what are the characteristics of children’s choice of partners? Whether the age and gender of partners have an impact on the interaction;3.What are the characteristics of children’s interaction in different game types and whether the game types affect the generation of children’s interaction;4.What are the characteristics of game initiators and receivers in outdoor mixed-age independent game activities?5.How do children interact with each other in outdoor independent games of mixed ages? After specific research and analysis,the research results are as follows:1.In outdoor mixed-age independent game activities,children’s interactions are not limited by regional themes and materials,and most of the interactions occur in theme activity areas with abundant materials and convenient transportation.2.Children tend to choose same-sex partners of the same age or one year’s age difference for interaction.3.In outdoor mixed-age independent games,the choice of game type is related to the child’s gender,and the interaction is mainly generated in role-based games.With the growth of children’s age,children’s interaction is expanded from role-based games to other two kinds of games.4.In outdoor mixed-age independent game activities,the initiators and receivers of interaction increase with age,and male children are always higher than female children.The combination of age and gender of the initiator and the receiver of the interaction varies in different game types.5.The use of different modes of interaction is related to the gender and age of children.Male children tend to use actions,while female children tend to use language.
