Research On College Students’ Religious Beliefs And Its Education And Guidance In The New Media Environment

In recent years,the struggle in the ideological field at home and abroad has become increasingly serious.Especially in the context of the rapid development and wide application of new media technology,the speed,breadth and depth of religious communication have been greatly improved,and the appeal,influence and penetration of religion have also been continuously enhanced,thus threatening the security of China’s ideology.As the main body of China’s Internet users,college students lack of strong judgment and discrimination ability,and someone lack of faith,distortion of values,and ambiguity of ideals and beliefs.Therefore,they are easily affected by various religious thoughts on the Internet and become the focus of religious infiltration.As a valuable talent resource of the country,college students are shouldering the important task of national rejuvenation,and their ideological status will inevitably affect the future development direction of the country.Therefore,it is particularly important to understand the basic situation of college students’ religious belief under the new media environment and research how to educate and guide them.This is not only a problem that the party,the country,the government and the society need to pay close attention to,but also a major issue that the ideological and political education work in colleges and universities needs to pay close attention to.Based on the social background of the deepening integration of religion and new media,this paper firstly analyzes the contemporary characteristics of religious communication,religious content,religious activities and religious participation by comparing with the traditional society,then expound the important influence of new media environment on religion.Secondly,through a large number of empirical surveys and literature analysis,this paper summarizes the basic situation of college students’ religious belief in the new media environment,and analyzes the existing problems from the aspects of college students’ cognition,emotion,belief and behavior of religion.Thirdly,the religious belief of college students in the new media environment is considered in the overall situation of social development,and the importance,urgency and complexity of strengthening educational guidance for college students are expounded from the theoretical and practical perspectives.Finally,based on the analysis of the current situation and theoretical discussion,the author tries to respond to the existing problems in the religious belief of college students one by one through cognitive education,emotional care,faith construction and behavior guidance,starting from the ideological and behavioral development process of college students,meanwhile takes environmental optimization as a whole process.Through the above five points,from both internal and external aspects simultaneously,the aim is to pool multiple forces to promote the in-depth development of religious belief education and guidance for college students in the new media environment,so as to enable college students in a good living environment to form a rational religious understanding,a healthy psychological state,and a firm scientific belief,finally treat religion with correct behavior,and consciously resist the influence of religion on college students and colleges.
