Mental resilience is an important psychological quality index for individuals to grow up in setbacks and adversities.It not only determines the way individuals respond to setbacks and adversities,but also directly affects their mental health.High school students with learning difficulties have unbalanced physical and mental development and some psychological contradictions and conflicts.In the face of study pressure and life troubles,their mental resilience and vulnerability is one of their common psychological problems.How to improve the mental resilience of students with learning difficulties and improve their ability to cope with pressure and difficulties is an important topic in current mental health education.The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of mental resilience of high school students with academic difficulties,and to screen some students with low mental resilience to participate in group counseling,so as to test the effectiveness of group intervention and provide scientific basis and practical methods for school mental health education.This study is divided into two parts.Firstly,660 students from zoucheng experimental high school were selected for the "mental resilience" survey,and 637 valid questionnaires were collected.Through data analysis,the differences of mental toughness level in gender,only child,single parent,urban and rural students and grades were understood.Conclusions :(1)the group mental toughness students with learning difficulties is in the middle level,which is significantly lower than that of students without learning difficulties of the same age.(2)there is no significant difference in the mental toughness level of high school students with academic difficulties in terms of gender,whether they are the only child or not,as well as the source of students with odd or double affinity in urban and rural areas.There are significant differences in grade,senior one and senior three are significantly higher than senior two.(3)mental toughness level of high school students with learning difficulties is significantly different in different grades.In the second part,students with low mental resilience level are selected for group counseling.36 subjects were selected and divided into 18 subjects in the intervention group and 18 subjects in the control group.On the premise of the homogeneity of the number of boys and girls in each group and the number of students in the grade,the intervention group was given group intervention for two months,twice a week,two periods each time,12 times with 24 class hours.Using the theory of humanism,group dynamics,positive psychology,listening,support,empathy and other activities to design group counseling program,to improve the level of psychological resilience of intervention members.After the intervention,in-depth interviews were conducted on intervention members,and self-assessment and satisfaction survey were conducted to comprehensively test the intervention effect.However,the control group members entered the class at the same time every week according to the requirements of normal evening self-study at school,without any form of group or individual psychological counseling and intervention.Conclusions :(1)there was a significant difference between the pre-test data of the intervention group and the post-test data of the control group.(2)there was no significant difference between the pre-test data of the control group and the post-test data of the intervention group.(3)through group counseling,the intervention group was significantly improved,while that in the control group was not significantly changed.Therefore,it is concluded that group counseling can effectively improve the mental resilience level of high school students with learning difficulties.
