Test anxiety is a special psychological reaction characterized by anxiety under the stimulation of examination situation.In China’s exam-oriented education environment,test anxiety was prevalent among students.It not only affects students’ learning,but also have important effects on their mental health.So the test anxiety problem cannot be neglected.In this study,from the perspective of the influencing factors of junior middle school students’ test anxiety,to understand the current situation of emotional intelligence,achievement motivation,test anxiety in junior middle school students.On this basis,investigate the influence of emotional intelligence and achievement motivation on test anxiety,and the mediating role of achievement motivation between emotional intelligence and test anxiety.In this study,the EIS(emotional intelligence scale),TAS(test anxiety scale)and AMS(achievement motivation scale)were used to test 468 junior middle school students through questionnaires.Statistical methods such as descriptive statistics,analysis of variance,correlation analysis,mediating effect test were used to study the relationship between emotional intelligence,achievement motivation and test anxiety in junior middle school students.And analyzed the influence mechanism of emotional intelligence and achievement motivation on test anxiety of junior middle school students.The conclusions were as follows:1.Test anxiety of Junior middle school students was in the moderate level,there were certain test anxiety problems,Emotional intelligence was well developed,which was above the middle level,and their achievement motivation was more inclined to pursue success;Test anxiety was significantly different in gender and whether they were class cadres or not.Specifically,the test anxiety of girls was significantly higher than that of boys,and the test anxiety of class cadres was significantly lower than that of non-class cadres,while the difference in grade was not significant.2.Emotional intelligence and the motivation of pursuing success was negatively correlated with test anxiety,while the motivation of avoiding failure was positively correlated with test anxiety.Emotional intelligence was positively correlated with the motivation of pursuing success,and negatively correlated with the motivation of avoiding failure.3.The motivation of pursuing success and the motivation of avoiding failure played a completely mediating role between emotional intelligence and test anxiety.Junior middle school students’ emotional intelligence affected their test anxiety by the motivation of pursuing success and avoiding failure.
