The increasing competitive pressure of the college entrance examination makes people pay more and more attention to the problem of test anxiety.Students' excessive emphasis on test results,as well as parents' and schools' high expectations of high school students,make the test anxiety level of high school students become higher and higher.Some studies have found that emotional intelligence can relieve psychological pressure,and then adjust the test anxiety of high school students.At the same time,there is a close relationship between emotional intelligence and mental resilience.Therefore,this study will discuss the basic conditions of emotional intelligence,test anxiety and mental resilience of high school students,and analyze the correlation between the three and their internal mechanism of action.From the perspective of emotional intelligence and mental resilience,this paper provides some references and Suggestions for the intervention of high school students' test anxiety.This study surveyed 700 high school students from 2 schools in xi'an city,shaanxi province and qingyang city,gansu province,using the test anxiety scale(TAI),emotional intelligence scale,and mental resilience scale(CD-RISC).Firstly,the differences in demographic variables such as grade,gender,one-child status,family background,class cadre status were analyzed and studied,and then the correlation among the three factors and the role of mental resilience in the impact of emotional intelligence on test anxiety were explored.The results show that the emotional intelligence,test anxiety and mental resilience of high school students are significantly different in the majority demographic variables.Among the three variables,test anxiety is negatively correlated with mental resilience and emotional intelligence,while emotional intelligence is positively correlated with mental resilience.Mental resilience plays a completely mediating role between emotional intelligence and test anxiety.To sum up,this study draws the following conclusions:emotional intelligence and mental resilience can significantly negatively predict test anxiety,and mental resilience plays a completely mediating role in the impact of emotional intelligence on test anxiety.
