Under the background of knowledge economy,it’s very important to cultivate innovative talents.It has a great significance for China to accelerate the construction of an innovative country and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.There are remarks that students in Chinese culture are obedient and influence their creativity.From the perspective of teachers,this paper tries to understand the creativity level of obedient students in teachers’ eyes.On the one hand,it can provide some help for teachers to cultivate students’ creativity.On the other hand,it can also break some subjective comments.This paper adopts qualitative research method to analyze the creativity of obedient students in teachers’ eyes,and conducts semi-structured interviews with 9 grassroots teachers.Based on the method of grounded theory research,Nvivo12 was used to encode the documents transcribed from the interview,and the teachers’ views on the creativity of obedient students were analyzed.The results show that: first,teachers of different subjects have different understandings of students’ creativity,and students’ creativity is mainly manifested in divergent thinking,independent consciousness,fluent language and the courage to question.Second,teachers’ attitude towards the cultivation of students’ creativity is not optimistic,which is mainly reflected in the following aspects: the cultivation of creativity should consider the actual situation,and the cultivation of creativity has high requirements on students’ foundation and teachers’ ability.Thirdly,teachers’ understanding of “obedient” students:in class performance:they listen to teachers carefully,interact actively,obey rules and follow teachers’ instructions;After class performance: good test results,high quality of homework,and teachers to communicate and help each other.Fourth,in the eyes of teachers,such “obedient” students are creative.They may have independent thinking ability,judgment or lively personality.Fifth,teachers’ understanding of “disobedient” students: they are rigid in class,do not participate in class,and disturb classroom discipline;After class performance is: long overdue homework,poor self-control,poor moral quality.Sixth,students’ creativity is manifested in different aspects: active thinking,fluent speaking,and questioning.Seventh,students who are too obedient,rigid and lack of rules may be less creative.Based on the above conclusions,this study proposes feasible Suggestions from the following aspects: Establishing the concept of cultivating students’ creativity;Create a good creative classroom environment;Teachers constantly improve their own ability level;Attach importance to the cultivation of students’ creative thinking;Pay attention to the cultivation of students’ creative personality;Pay attention to the cultivation of students’ practical ability.
