Ideal and belief is a person’s pursuit of future development,and also the spiritual source of a nation and a country’s continuous progress.Contemporary college students are the young force to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Their ideals and beliefs are related to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Ideal and belief education is the core of Ideological and political education for college students.In order to promote the ideological and political work and the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era,it is very important and far-reaching to study the ideal and belief education of college students and improve the effectiveness of the ideal and belief education of college students."post-95" and "post-00" college students as a generation who grew up watching various images such as TV,movies,and online videos,the image world has built a background environment on which they survive and develop,reshaping their cognitive style,To a certain extent,it also affect and restrict their views,understanding and choices on ideals and beliefs.Re-examine the ideal and belief education of college students under the visual field of image,and actively grasp the new opportunities brought by the image age to the ideal and belief education of college students,explore innovative ways to effectively carry out the ideal and belief education in image age,and constantly improves the attractiveness,appeal and effectiveness of the ideal and belief education for college students.This dissertation consists of three main parts:Chapter one: An overview of the ideal and belief education for college students in the image age.This part mainly defines the background and basic content of the ideal and belief education of college students in the image age,discusses the definition,development and performance of the image age,clarifies the connotation of ideal and belief education and the main content of ideal and belief education for college students.And combined with actual survey data,analysis of the current ideal and belief education for college students there is room for further improvement.Chapter two: Analyzes the opportunities and challenges of ideal and belief education for college students in image age.In the image age,diverse images can enrich the resources ofcollege students’ ideal and belief education,and promote the visualization and recessiveness of college students’ ideal and belief education.At the same time,the ideal and belief education of college students in the image age is also has the disadvantages of complicated educational environment,abstract expression of educational content and shallow educational effect.Chapter three: To explore the effective development of ideal and belief education for college students in the image age.This part is based on the analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by the ideal and belief education of college students in the image age,from four aspects,explore ways and methods to effectively promote the ideal and belief education of college students,including improving the image quality of teachers and students,enriching the resources of college students’ ideal and belief education,innovating the way of college students’ ideal and belief education,and optimizing the environment of college students’ ideal and belief education in the image age.
