In recent years,the incidence of autism spectrum disorders has continued to increase.And 50% of children with autism is experiencing anxiety,which negatively affects mood,communication,and behavior of children with autism.Studies have shown that emotional approach coping has a predictive effect on anxiety,and can improve the level of anxiety by improving emotional approach coping.Cognitive-behavioral therapy changes individual behaviors by adjusting poor or wrong cognition,which as an effective intervention method appling to anxiety of adolescents with autism.Although it has been gradually focused on the impact of parents,it causes low self-efficacy beause of ignoring the parent’s need and active participation.Related research has rarely discussed changes in emotional approach coping in anxiety interventions..The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of parental involvement in cognitive behavioral teaching on the ability of children with autism to cope with anxiety.The research method adopted a multi-baseline cross-experimental experimental design in a single experimental design to provide instructional interventions to three children with autism aged 3-8 year-old.This study used visual analysis,descriptive statistics,rater consistency reliability,and social validity analysis to process the research data,and conducted interviews with the parents of the study subjects to establish the social validity of the study.research showed that:(1)Parental involvement in cognitive behavioral teaching has a good immediate effect on interventions for emotion approach coping with anxiety in children with autism.(2)Parental involvement in cognitive behavioral teaching has a good effect of maintaining teaching on emotion approach coping with anxiety in children with autism.(3)Parental involvement in cognitive behavioral teaching has better social validity on interventions for emotion approach coping with anxiety in children with autism.Based on the above research,the researchers summarized and reflectd on the factors of affecting the research results,limtations on the design and implementation of the research。finally,suggestions were given for future teaching and research in order to provide a reference for China’s researchers and educators.
