| The smooth implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy and the pursuit of high-quality rural development goals have aroused people’s attention to the overall quality of rural development practice subjects.As potential talents for rural economic development,rural children’s education and development problems affect the quality of agricultural labor force in China.With China’s urbanization process in full swing,in the era of a large number of farmers working in cities,rural left behind children due to lack of parental care,their own safety,health,education and other issues highlighted,academic research on rural left behind children involves many aspects,including:the size of rural left behind children,education,mental health,moral quality,etc There are few studies on the academic performance and its influencing factors of rural left behind children.The academic performance of rural left behind children has a profound impact on their future education level,employment situation and life development direction.Family factors have a profound impact on the academic performance of left behind children in rural areas.Families not only provide economic basis for individual education,but also influence children’s education expectation,learning interest,learning attitude and so on.This paper uses some data from the China Family Panel Studies 2016 to study the impact of family factors on the academic performance of rural left behind children.On the basis of summarizing the research results at home and abroad and interviews,this paper investigates the influence of family factors on the academic performance of rural left behind children from three aspects:parental control,parent-child communication willingness and educational expectation.It is found that the influence of family factors on the academic performance of rural left behind children is significant,and the willingness of parent-child communication and educational expectation are positively correlated with the academic performance of rural left behind children.Therefore,this study from the family dimension,mainly to play family functions,supplemented by social,school and government functional support,put forward relevant suggestions,to maximize the promotion of children’s academic development and adult success. |
