| With the continuous advance of economic globalization,technology has become one of the focus of competition among countries.The competition in science and technology lies not only in the competition of science and technology and technology products,but also in the academic morality of scientific researchers.Academic morality is the requirement and internal motivation of scientific research and scientific and technological innovation development,and the basic premise and fundamental guarantee for the sustainable development of scientific research.Scientific research activities often accompany the academic morality of researchers,which permeate s scientific research activities throughout.Especially in this era,scientific research activities are more extensive than ever before,there are more and more people engaged in scientific research activities and those activities related to scientific research.Academic competition is particularly fierce.Driven by various interests,scientific research dishonesty often occurs.The prevention and control of scientific dishonesty has become a hot issue of global concern.In recent years,the academic morality misconduct of graduate students in China are often exposed,which has caused great repercussions and brought questions about the quality of postgraduate education.Therefore,it is particularly important and urgent to improve the academic moral cultivation of graduate students.Singapore grew into a technological power in just a few decades,mainly because of its emphasis on the improvement of the academic moral quality of postgraduates in the process of scientific and technological innovation.Singapore’s Universities have done a relatively good job in postgraduate academic moral education,and its success has an important referential significance for the academic moral education of postgraduates in China.The study adopts the comparative research method,starting from the promotion of national revitalization by the development of science and technology in Singapore,to discuss the tremendous influence of strengthening the academic morality construction of scientific research on the development of national science and technology and the improvement of comprehensive national strength.Then it systematically sorted out the important measures on the academic moral education of graduate students of the three internationally renowned universities in Singapore.The common educational initiatives of the three universities are as follows:(1)formulate complete rules and regulations for academic moral education;(2)adopt various strategies of academic moral education;(3)supervise academic activities.The academic moral education of postgraduate students in Singapore has achieved remarkable results.It is mainly because that the government and social elites of Singapore have a strong sense of urgency;Singapore has a strict law environment and full-covered moral education and Singapore’s higher education pursues excellence and academic innovation.Based on the experiences of academic moral education of postgraduates in Singapore,this study suggests that the Universities in China should learn from Singapore Universities of enhancing the self-discipline consciousness on academic morality of postgraduates,attaching importance to the academic moral education in Colleges and Universities and creating a good social morality and legal environment. |
