Research On The Intervention Of Case Work In The Adjustment Of Parent-child Relationship In Urban Two-child Families

The number of two-child families have increased due to the"universal two-child policy" in China,and this circumstance has a great impact on china’s society.Therefore,the academic circle has paid attention to the effect of the born of the second child on the elder children and whole family.Because the birth of the second child makes the parents give them more care,this will make the eldest child feel crisis or anxiety,and even feel jealous of the younger brother or sister.In many cases,parents will ignore the eldest child’s emotional "signals" of dissatisfaction,and thus lose the best opportunity for emotional communication with the eldest child.Because the eldest children in this period are mentally immature and lack the ability to self-control and guide their emotions,they may further deepen the conflicts,thus forming a vicious circle,leaving the eldest children in a long-term negative emotional state,such as worry,tension,irritability and jealousy,and the relationship between parents and their eldest children deteriorated.This article based on the social work perspective,and combines a large number of relevant literature.The process of this research was divided by four stages,there were four stages.Early stage:Establishing a research relationship with the service family and information collecting,problems analyzing,research work planning.Intermediate stage:Using the rational emotion therapy model to eliminate Xiaofei’s irrational attitude towards her sister through multiple interviews with the service family.Besides,the intervention of Xiaofei’s mother used the Satir family therapy model.At this stage,the tense parent-child relationship has been eased.Final stage:Using the family sharing session,The parent-child relationship between Xiaofei’s mother and daughter has been improved,and a new good communication mode has been established gradually.Consolidation stage:the author and the service family reviewed the previous work,summed up and encouraged the process progress while actively linking external resources for serving families to consolidate the effectiveness of services.The evaluation results show that,this research work has achieved a satisfactory result.Comparing the results of the scale,it can be seen that Xiaofei’s family satisfaction with the parent-child relationship has been greatly improved,the tense parent-child relationship has been eased significantly,and the communication mode between the parent-child has also been improved.Besides,the author also put forward some of her own suggestions and reflection at the end of this article.Through this research,we can provide some solutions for two-child families who are troubled by this tense parent-child relationship problem.
