| Purpose to explore the influence of emotional abuse and neglect on middle school students’ Cyber aggressive behavior,and the role of peer relationship and moral identity.Methods 1093 students from four middle schools in Henan Province and Hunan Province were selected by convenience sampling method.They were tested by childhood abuse questionnaire,moral identity scale,peer relationship scale for children and adolescents and Internet attack behavior rating scale for adolescents.1005 valid questionnaires were collected,with an effective rate of 91.9%.Result(1)There are significant gender differences,grade differences and residence location differences in emotional abuse and neglect,and the scores of boys,junior high school students and urban residence students are significantly lower than those of girls,senior high school students and rural residence students respectively;(2)there are significant gender differences,grade differences and location differences in peer relationships,among which the scores of male students,junior high school students and urban residence students are significantly lower than those of female students,senior high school students and rural residence students;(3)there were significant grade differences and location differences in moral identity,among which the scores of junior high school students and urban residence students were significantly higher than those of senior high school students and rural residence students respectively;(4)There are significant gender differences in middle school students’ Cyber aggressive behavior,and the scores of boys are significantly higher than those of girls;(5)There was a significant positive correlation between emotion abuse and neglect,peer relationship and cyber aggressive behavior,and a significant negative correlation with moral identity;(6)Emotional abuse and neglect positively predicted cyber aggressive behavior,in which peer relationship played a partial mediating role,accounting for 40%;(7)Moral identity plays a regulatory role in the influence of emotional abuse and neglect on peer relationship(β=0.06,p<0.05),and plays a regulatory role in the influence of peer relationship on cyber aggressive behavior(β=-0.07,p<0.05).Moral identity regulates the first half path and the second half path of the intermediary model.Conclusion(1)Emotional abuse and neglect can directly predict middle school students’ Cyber aggressive behavior,and can also indirectly predict cyber aggressive behavior through peer relationship;(2)This effect is moderated by moral identity;(3)Moral identity moderates the impact of emotional abuse and neglect on peer relationship.Specifically,regardless of the level of moral identity,emotional abuse and neglect positively predict peer relationship,that is,the higher the level of emotional abuse and neglect,the worse the peer relationship.When the level of emotional abuse and neglect is low,the role of moral identity is greater;when the level of emotional abuse and neglect is high,the regulatory role of moral identity becomes weaker;(4)Moral identity buffers peer relationship The influence of relationship on cyber aggressive behavior.Specifically,regardless of the level of moral identity,peer relationship positively predicts cyber aggressive behavior.When the level of moral identity is high,the protective effect of peer relationship on cyber aggressive behavior is greater.When the level of moral identity is low,the protective effect of peer relationship on cyber aggressive behavior is smaller. |
