| The rural semi-boarding school is a special management mode produced by the overall planning of the integration of urban and rural compulsory education in the county in order to meet the needs of social development. It has the characteristics of large diversity of students and complex composition structure, but there is less attention to this kind of school in the aspect of mental health education at present. In recent years, the aggressive behaviors of adolescents such as school violence, cyber attacks and others’ harm show an increasing trend year by year. The aggressive behaviors will have a negative impact on academic performance, social adaptation and peer relationship, etc.,which is a hot research topic in the field of school mental health.Family factors are the key factors affecting adolescent aggressive behavior.Emotional neglect in family factors is hidden and long-term,but the relationship between emotional neglect and aggressive behavior has been less explored at present. Therefore, this study will explore the relationship between affective neglect and aggressive behavior, and from the perspective of situational development theory, explore the influence of peer attachment and perceived social support on affective neglect and aggressive behavior, and on this basis, construct a multi-relationship mediation model. The research adopted the Affective Neglect Scale,Aggression Questionnaire,Peer Attachment Scale and Perceptive Social Support Scale to conduct a questionnaire survey on 1513 middle school students from six middle schools in a county of Nanchong City. The findings were as follows:(1)The incidence of emotional neglect of rural semi-boarding middle school students is higher, the total incidence is 23.27%,and there is a significant relationship between grade, single parent, family rearing mode and mother’s education level.(2)The incidence of aggression of rural semi-boarding middle school students was 10.44%,mainly verbal aggression and hostility, and there were significant differences in grade, single parent or not,and family rearing mode;(3)The peer attachment level of rural semi-boarding middle school students is higher, and there are significant differences in gender, grade, single parent, residence, family rearing mode, and education level of father and mother.(4)Rural semi-boarding middle school students have a higher understanding of social support level, and there are significant differences in grade, single parent, family rearing mode, and the education level of father and mother;(5)Related research results show that affective neglect, aggressive behavior, peer attachment and perceived social support are all significantly correlated with each other;(6)The results of mediating analysis showed that peer attachment and perceived social support played a chain mediating role in emotional neglect and aggressive behavior.Through the above results,it can be concluded that the influence of emotional neglect and the frequency of aggressive behavior can be reduced by improving the level of peer attachment and perceived social support of rural semi-boarding middle school students. |
