Research On Internet Public Opinion Responses For Emergent Events

With the rapid development of Internet technology,the network consensus gradually plays a strong role on reflecting the social reality and the public opinion.After the occurrence of mega-events,the network consensus quickly forms and leads to different public opinion.At the end of 2019.The outbreak of COVID-19 has swept across the whole country,the network consensus forms and develops in very short time by focusing on people’s emotions and ideas during the fight of the epidemic,which is critical to overcoming the outbreak of COVID-19.The government pays high attention to the response to public opinion on the Internet,and General Secretary Jinping Xi stressed the importance of "co-ordinating the online and offline"and "strengthening propaganda and ideological work,and guiding the network public opinion” during the outbreak.Studying the response of managements of network consensus for COVID-19 can deepen the theory of the network consensus and deepen the understanding of those major public health events.Based on the background mentioned above,this paper focuses on the network consensus of COVID-19 as object of study and starts from the theory of the crisis life cycle to describe the outbreak of COVID-19 and introduce the formation,development stage of the network consensus for COVID-19 and negative impact of epidemic for the local government.Combining the management of local government and their effective work on the network consensus of COVID-19 and the theory of crisis life cycle,this paper analyses how the local government to solve the problems of network consensus in different stages.Then pointing out the problems that the government faces to during the management of those major public health events and summarise the causes of those problems after the depth analysis.Based on the analysis facts mentioned above,providing the suggestions and solutions to those problems by improving the strategies of management of network consensus on public health emergencies.The research on the public opinion response work of COVID-19 is to improve the practical working skills of dealing with major public health events through practicing,developing and perfecting the theory.
