Hurdle race is one of the track events in track and field,and it is also one of the more difficult sports in track and field.It has high requirements on the speed of hurdlers,the technical ability of hurdles and the ability of running and crossing.Liu Xiang,as one of the greatest track and field athletes in China,has won the gold medal and broken the world record in the straight track,which has pushed the research upsurge of Chinese scholars to the peak.The hurdle technology in today’s world is constantly changing,especially the men’s hurdle.Its world record has been broken again and again in the past few decades.Throughout the research on hurdle events over the years,it is found that scholars have done more research on Chinese and foreign excellent hurdle athletes,top athletes and athletes of different levels in China,but the youth sports are divided according to age There are few studies on this subject.Young athletes as reserve talents are the hope of 110 m hurdles in the future.At this stage,our country urgently needs and needs fresh blood injection,so that our hurdles can be reborn.This research is based on the short span relay event group of "Dewey Cup" in Shandong area of 2020 national U series communication competition,the 110 m hurdles competition of 2020 Shandong Provincial track and Field Championship(Weihai area),2018 National Junior track and field(U18)championship,2018 National Junior track and field championship and national sports school Federation Championship(14-17 years old)and 110 m hurdles final of Beijing World Championships,dohass Based on the data of 110 m hurdles final,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the speed characteristics of different levels of young athletes,excellent young athletes and adult athletes from different angles,and puts forward some suggestions.The conclusions are as follows:1.U18 men’s 110 m hurdles athletes of different levels have similar speed changes in the whole course,but there are differences in specific speed values in various aspects.The whole speed change of all U18 men’s 110 m hurdles athletes also revealed that the speed ability in the later course was positively correlated with the achievement level to a certain extent.At the same time,the time difference between the three steps in hurdles is the main reason for the gap between the second and third-level athletes,especially the main reason for the increased time of the third-level athletes in the later hurdle cycle.2.The speed difference between the start and the first hurdle is small,and the first hurdle is the main technique in 8 steps.In the sprint stage of the lower hurdle,the speed difference is large,and the secondary athletes have an absolute advantage in this stage.3.The speed of the first to the fifth hurdle cycle of the young athletes reaches the maximum after the acceleration of the start.The distribution of the maximum hurdle cycle speed of the third level athletes is relatively scattered,and the most concentrated is in the second to the fourth hurdle cycle.The maximum hurdle cycle speed of the second level athletes is distributed in the three to five hurdle cycles.In contrast,the acceleration cycle of the second level athletes is obvious,and the ability to maintain the speed of higher hurdle cycle is stronger.After reaching the maximum speed,there will be a "second acceleration" in the second level athletes,while the speed of the third level athletes shows the characteristics of a straight line decline.4.The changing trend of the whole hurdle speed of the young athletes of different levels is similar to the changing trend of the average stride frequency of the three steps between hurdles,while the changing trend of the stride frequency of the young athletes of different levels is different from the changing trend of the whole hurdle speed.The maximum step frequency of the three steps between hurdles of the second level athletes appears one or two cycles later than that of the first level athletes.5.Young athletes and adult athletes in the whole process of speed change is very similar,but the value is different.Among them,adult athletes have a very short first step time between hurdles,which is the key for young athletes to improve the speed between hurdle.
