Beijing Olympic Games has witnessed the rapid development of sprint. What are the characteristics and contact of the various projects ? Looking at the domestic and international research found that the current problem of the type of research which limited to a single area but sprint speed between the various groups, similarities and differences between characteristics of the rhythm is very little and the overall lack of effective quantitative analysis.With these questions, the author has consulted a large quantity of related materials and acquired the related data of world elite sprinters in the 100m, 200m and 400m finals of the 6th and 7th world athletics championships, the original data of 20 world elite simultaneous sprinters in both 60m and 100m races, and that of 30 world elite simultaneous sprinters in 100m and 200m races. The author has got derived data through necessary calculation with the original data of 13 athletes in the 6th and 7th world athletics championships and some (6 persons) in the 200m final as well as the data of some in the 400m final of 6th and 7th world athletics championships by Microsoft Excel2003. He processes those data by mathematics statistics and conducts inductive analysis and comparison with the result by SPSS11.5 software, so as to provide theoretical and practical use for reference to improve the overall level of sprinting in our country.
