| In recent years,the development of artificial intelligence technology has continuously deepened the information technology revolution,which has a profound impact on human society.It will also have a revolutionary impact on the employment of different industries and groups,and also cause panic such as "machine substitution".This article analyzes the development of artificial intelligence in China and the status quo of labor employment.First,it introduces the development status of artificial intelligence from three aspects:the structure of the artificial intelligence industry chain,the status quo of artificial intelligence talents,and the application field of artificial intelligence.Industrial structure,labor quality,and income level introduce the development status of labor employment in China.Finally,the relationship between artificial intelligence and China’s employment is sorted out in terms of the number of jobs and the employment structure.This article focuses on the influence mechanism of artificial intelligence on employment in our country,and explores and analyzes the employment influence effect of artificial intelligence from two different levels of employment quantity and employment structure.First of all,it is concluded theoretically that the impact of artificial intelligence on employment has scale effect path mechanism,income effect path mechanism,new product effect path mechanism and employment structure optimization effect mechanism.Second,establish an intermediary effect model to test the existence of an employment influence mechanism from an empirical level.This article establishes the inter-industry and inter-industry intermediary effect models on the number of jobs,and uses the 5-year annual report panel data of 390 listed artificial intelligence companies to test the three intermediary effect paths of the scale effect,income effect,and new product effect of artificial intelligence on the employment of enterprises in the industry mechanism.Taking the financial industry as an example,this article use inter-provincial industry data to test the impact of artificial intelligence on employment in the financial industry.The development of artificial intelligence has externalities to industries other than this industry.Third,in order to explore the employment structure optimization effect of artificial intelligence,a double difference model was established with panel data from 31 provinces across the country to empirically test the influence of artificial intelligence on the proportion of low-skilled employment.Research shows that:(1)In terms of the number of jobs,there is an intermediary effect mechanism within the industry.The development of artificial intelligence expands the scale of enterprises through scale effects,and expands enterprise production through new product effects,both of which indirectly increase the number of enterprise employment.(2)In terms of the number of jobs,there is an inter-industry intermediary effect mechanism.The development of artificial intelligence has indirectly increased the number of jobs in the financial industry by expanding the scale of the financial industry and promoting the emergence of new financial products.The development of artificial intelligence technology not only affects labor The number of employment in the smart industry also has an effect on the number of employment in other industries such as the financial industry.The employment impact of artificial intelligence has externalities.(3)In terms of employment structure,artificial intelligence has reduced the proportion of low-skilled employment to a certain extent,affecting the employment structure,and there are differences in preferences for workers with different skills.Under the wave of artificial intelligence,low-skilled employees bear the brunt,and employment opportunities are facing challenges.Finally,the article combines theory and empirical research to provide policy recommendations to promote the development of artificial intelligence and achieve high-quality employment. |
