| The proportion of middle school students online accounts for 60.9%of the total Internet users and 99.3%of the Internet users use mobile phone communication,while the simple online text social and face-to-face real person social have different emotional experiences.As a negative emotional experience,social anxiety refers to the emotional experience of tension,worry,fear and fear in interpersonal communication.So.will individual online social interaction cause anxiety in offline social interaction?Some studies have shown that mobile social media use is positively related to social anxiety,but others have shown that mobile social media use helps individuals overcome shyness and strengthens interpersonal relationships established by face-to-face communication.It can be seen that the relationship between mobile social media use and social anxiety and its internal mechanism can not be agreed,which is worthy of further discussion.Focusing on the relationship between mobile social media use and social anxiety,this study first discusses the internal mechanism of mobile social media use affecting social anxiety,and examines the intermediary role of self-objectification and the regulatory role of peer attachment(study 1).Secondly,based on self-objectification theory and other related theories,self-objectification group counseling intervention was carried out to reduce the level of social anxiety of middle school students(study 2).Study 1 Using the questionnaire method,the mobile social media use,social anxiety,self-objectification and peer attachment of 725 middle school students were investigated by using the SPSS macro program compiled by SPSS24.0 and Hayes(2012)for data processing and analysis.As a result,it was found that the use of mobile social media was positively correlated with social anxiety,positively correlated with self-objectification and positively correlated with peer attachment;positively correlated with self-objectification and social anxiety,negatively correlated with peer attachment;negatively correlated with peer attachment;negatively correlated with social anxiety and peer attachment;positively predictive of social anxiety by using mobile social media after controlling for gender,grade,age and BMI;and significantly positively mediated by self-objectification,that was,the use of mobile social media could enhance the level of social anxiety of middle school students by improving physical monitoring and physical shame;Peer attachment had a significant regulatory effected on the relationship between physical shame and social anxiety,that was,the higher the peer attachment level,the stronger the positive predictive effected of physical shame on social anxiety.Based on study 1,8 female high school students with high self-objectification and high social anxiety were treated with group intervention for eight weeks,and the questionnaire in study 1 was used for post-test and tracking.Data processing and analysis were carried out with SPSS.It was found that self-objectification group counseling based on self-objectification theory and dualistic theory of body and mind effectively reduced the level of self-objectification and social anxiety of middle school students.This study reveals the internal mechanism of mobile social media use affecting social anxiety,enriches the existing social anxiety theory and helps to clarify the relationship between the two.At the same time,this study also provides intervention ideas and methods for effectively reducing social anxiety of middle school students,and broadens the intervention perspective of social anxiety. |
