Studies On Cultural Construction Of New University Campuses In Shenyang

The sixth plenary session of the 17th CPC central committee put forward the strategic task of building a strong socialist culture country.The spirit of the 18th CPC national congress points out the significance of strengthening the university culture construction,and puts forward the requirements for Chinese university culture construction.The 21st century has provided the valuable historical opportunity for promoting the cultural development and prosperity.Universities undertake the new function of cultural inheritance and innovation.To strengthen the university culture construction,it is not only to fully perform the new function,but also to accumulate the university cultural deposits and to promote the development of university spiritual culture.Local universities are rooted in a certain regional environment,and the university culture must be rooted in local regional culture.Hence,the cultural construction of local universities should make local regional cultural advantages,form the unique exclusive culture system by actively digging,inheriting,developing and innovating,promote the spiritual civilization construction and cultural education atmosphere,construct the university culture with Shenyang regional cultural characteristics,create their own university culture brands,and promote the social popularity and influence.This paper takes the cultural construction of new university campuses in Shenyang as study object.It states the background,purpose and significance to the regional cultural construction of new university campuses in Shenyang,analyzes the domestic and overseas research status and gives a brief evaluation,and points out the necessity and feasibility of the organic integration of regional culture and university culture.Based on the current situation of cultural construction of new university campuses in Shenyang,the paper applies content analysis,case studies and comparative research,summarizes problems and analyzes reasons of the excessive pursuit of environmental cultural construction,the incongruity of cultural construction ideas and the neglect of students’ individual development.By taking empirical cases of the cultural construction of new university campuses in Shenyang,it extracts the countermeasures to solve the problems about the cultural construction of new university campuses in Shenyang,put forward university self-cultural orientation,construction of material cultural environment,equal attention to applied education and humanities education and cooperation between the government and universities from three aspects of the basic principles,the internal management of universities and the measures of the local government.The paper puts forward three major research innovation points,including the individual characteristics of the cultural construction of new university campuses,the relationship between the cultural construction of new university campuses and students’ individual development and the relationship between new university campuses and development of regional social and cultural industries.The author analyzes the problems and seeks for countermeasures at multiple levels from a new perspective.It is hoped that the paper can fill the blank in the research field of the cultural construction of new university campuses in Shenyang,provide feasible suggestions for the cultural construction of other local universities,and make some contributions to the university culture construction.
