Chinese characters are regarded as the most important means of expression and recording in Chinese culture and the foundation of national culture.It is because of the inheritance of Chinese characters and the development of calligraphy that the blood of Chinese culture has not been interrupted for 5000 years.Students can gradually understand pictographic,phonetic,ideographic,referential and other word-building methods,understand the unique "beauty of form" and "beauty of quality" of Chinese characters,and lay the foundation for the inheritance of Chinese culture.The inheritance of Chinese character culture is the bounden duty and obligation of educators.The teaching of "Three Characters" is an important way to realize cultural inheritance.The excellent culture and aesthetic education of the Chinese nation occupies an important position in the teaching of "Three Characters" and has a positive practical significance.The course of "Three Characters" is one of the contents of vocational skill training for normal students by the Ministry of Education.Its importance is increasingly prominent in normal colleges.However,there are still some problems in the actual teaching of "three-character" course.In the field investigation of the teaching classroom of "Three Characters" in seven normal universities in Xinjiang,by using the methods of questionnaire,observation,interview,literature research and comparative analysis,we have a thorough understanding of the current teaching situation of "Three Characters" course in normal universities in Xinjiang,and find that it has relatively backward teaching ideas,teaching methods tradition and courses.Due to the unreasonable schedule,single assessment form and standard,the lack of advanced teaching environment and equipment,a considerable number of normal school students fail to master the correct writing methods,resulting in unsatisfactory teaching effect.On the basis of this investigation and research,from the perspective of combining Chinese calligraphy culture with training practice,this paper puts forward the idea that the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture and aesthetic education should run through the teaching of "three characters" all the time and be the ultimate goal.It also gives the suggestion that "strict teaching plan,syllabus,examination and assessment criteria should be formulated,and the teaching system of"three characters"should be established from school to school.At the college level,the teacher level and the student level,the author puts forward some suggestions and strategies to promote and improve the teaching of "three strokes" in teachers’ major ofXinjiang higher education,with a view to effectively improving the writing level of teachers’ students,promoting the development of teachers’ skills,improving the comprehensive quality of teachers’ students,and inheriting the writing culture of Chinese characters.
