Research On The Implementation Of The Industrial Injury Insurance System For Migrant Workers In Yidu City From The Perspective Of Harmonious Labor Relations

Migrant workers are the special products under the dual structure of urban and rural areas in China,which refers to the working people who are registered in rural areas but do not engage in agricultural activities,but engage in various wage income in the cities.Most of them are not highly educated,engaged in scattered,hard-working,strong mobility,mainly distributed in the developed cities in the east and central china,of which construction,manufacturing,service industry is the majority.Compared with urban workers,migrant workers suffer from work-related accidents and occupational diseases to a higher degree.Most of this group has low income levels,poor family economic conditions,and medical expenses are an additional expense for them in the event of an injury,which is an added blow to the fact that if the circumstances are serious or incapacitated,then the economic lifeblood of a family is cut off.With the social contradictions becoming more and more prominent,the state began to pay attention to the rights and interests of migrant workers,especially for migrant workers can be called "life umbrella" of industrial injury insurance pay more attention.Based on the perspective of harmonious labor relations,this paper uses the research methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,normative research and empirical research to analyze the status quo and causes of the industrial injury insurance system of migrant workers in Yidu.The study found that the current migrant workers’ work injury insurance system mainly exists in the low coverage rate,migrant workers do not understand the work injury policy and declaration process,labor contract signing rate is low,workers’ compensation difficulties and migrant workers’ rights protection costs are not perfect,the relevant government departments supervision is not strict,the publicity is not perfect,the law is not perfect,enterprises evade social responsibility and migrant workers’ safety awareness is the key factors that induce these problems.The joint efforts of the government,employers and migrant workers in the new period will help to improve and perfect the system of migrant workers’ work injury insurance,improve the participation rate of migrant workers,safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employers and migrant workers,and promote social harmony.
