Abstract/Summary:
"The quality of compulsory education concerns the healthy growth of hundreds of millions of children, the development of the country and the future of the nation." Academic achievement is an important index to measure the quality of education.Due to the influence of family economy, household registration, education system and cultural differences, migrant children’s academic achievements are not optimistic, which is not conducive to the construction of a harmonious society,so they must be given high attention. There are many factors that affect the academic achievement of migrant children, including multiple risk factors in different environments, such as society, family, school, peer and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the impact of multiple risk factors on the academic achievement of migrant children as a whole,so as to carry out more targeted intervention, promote the healthy growth of migrant children, improve their academic achievement level, and promote education equity and even social equity. In this study, the cumulative ecological risk questionnaire and academic self-efficacy scale were used, and the scores of Chinese, mathematics and English in the school unified examination were transformed into standard scores, and the total standard scores of the three subjects were used as academic achievement indicators.A questionnaire survey was conducted among junior high school students from three schools in Guangdong Province and Hunan Province.940 valid questionnaires were obtained, including 583 floating children, accounting for 62.0%.The results are as follows:(1)There is a significant difference in cumulative ecological risk between floating children and non floating children.(2)The cumulative ecological risk, academic achievement and academic self-efficacy of migrant children are closely related.(3)Academic self-efficacy plays a part of intermediary role in the relationship between cumulative ecological risk and academic achievement of migrant children. The results show that the cumulative ecological risk of migrant children is significantly higher than that of non migrant children.Cumulative ecological risk has a negative predictive effect on the academic achievement of migrant children, and academic selfefficacy plays a part of intermediary role between them.Pay attention to the multiple risk factors of migrant children in different backgrounds, establish a "Trinity" education network, work together to resolve the risks, and strive to improve the academic self-efficacy of migrant children, which will help migrant children obtain better academic achievements, improve the quality of basic education, and promote education equity and social equity.
