Research On The Cultivation Of Social Responsibility Consciousness Of Contemporary College Students From The Perspective Of "Cultivating People With Morality"

Lide refers to building morality while Shuren refers to cultivating talents.The unity of building morality and cultivating talents has always been the dialectics of talent cultivation.A country without virtue would not prosper;a man without virtue would not stand.The world today is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century.The trend toward a multi-polar world,economic globalization,IT application and cultural diversity is gaining momentum.In this context,to continue to promote the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation puts forward new and higher requirements for ideological and political work in colleges and universities with the goal of cultivating all-round development.Responsibility is an eternal topic in the human world.The sense of responsibility is the basic quality of human being and the basic condition for the survival and continuation of social morality.As the core quality of moral quality,social responsibility consciousness is the organic combination of human inner spiritual value and external behavior norms.The cultivation of college students’ sense of social responsibility has played an irreplaceable and important role in the educational trend of the times by comprehensively carrying out the Party’s educational policy and carrying out the fundamental educational task of cultivating people by virtue.At present,some college students have the problem of weakening their awareness of social responsibility,which is manifested as "the loneliness of responsibility" as described by Jill Lipovitsky,such as "From knowledge to action,the weakening of growth motivation","self-highlighting and weakening of caring for others",Lack of cognition and weakening of responsibility learning effect".Standing at the historical juncture of achieving the fundamental task of "cultivating people by virtue" and solving the problem of weakening of college students’ sense of social responsibility,it is particularly important to consider the cultivation of the latter from the perspective of "cultivating people by virtue".In addition,through the analysis of spinning and cocooning,it is found that the connotation of "moral education" under both tradition or innovation and theory or practice is very rich.The "people-oriented" thought contained in it is the core guarantee for the cultivation and development of contemporary college students’ social responsibility consciousness,and the modern education concept embodied in it is the driving force for cultivating the status of contemporary college students’ social responsibility consciousness.On the contrary,the cultivation of contemporary college students’ sense of social responsibility can also give rational and irrational answers to the fundamental task of "cultivating people by virtue".The logical correlation between the two is a strong basis to prove this research idea.In the concrete practice construction,universities,families and the society must firmly adhere to the contents,methods and main positions of "cultivating people by virtue","raising responsibilities by virtue","people-oriented" and "long-lasting achievements" in "cultivating people by virtue".First of all,the Marxist moral concept,the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and the socialist morality with Chinese characteristics in the new era are deeply transmitted to achieve the purpose of enlightening their cognition of social responsibility,planting their feelings of social responsibility and guiding their consciousness of social responsibility.Secondly,in view of the major weakening problems of college students’ sense of social responsibility obtained from the questionnaire survey,we should deeply cultivate the concept of "student-oriented",the concept of "people-oriented" and the combination of "book worship".Finally,it is necessary to adhere to the position of "long-lasting achievements",and explore the new meaning,new chapter and new path of cultivating college students’ social responsibility consciousness from the content dimension,quality dimension and space dimension.In this way,we are hoping to not only make active response to the fundamental education question of “cultivate what kind of people,how to cultivate people and cultivate people for whom”,but make contribution to achieving the fundamental task of educating people by virtue,meeting the social expectations for seeking virtue with eagerness and realizing the national rejuvenation vision of "one heart and one mind".
