Sports decision making is a process in which individuals analyze and process the perceived external information in a specific sports environment, and then make action choices. The main characteristics of the whole process include the following three:less information available, high time pressure and uncertainty of results.Different dimensions of emotion will have different effects on our cognitive level, brain processing mode and attention concentration, and then affect our decision-making level and sports performance. But is it positive or negative? Are the athletic decisions made by athletes in a positive emotional state always quick and correct? Taekwondo is an unarmed confrontation project,in the process of competition, the attack and defense change is very fast and frequent, the opportunity is fleeting.Based on the above, this study selected tae kwon do movement as the research object, the experts-novice paradigm, activity levels as variables between groups, emotional type as a variable in the group, start to the mood,is introduced into the research on the types of decisions to explore under the different mood start, different levels of the speed and accuracy of taekwondo athletes sport decision of change and the change of event related potential, provide theoretical guidance for practical training. The results showed that :(1)Emotional state had a significant influence on the behavioral response of Taekwondo athletes’ sports decision-making.Under the positive emotional state, the participants’ reaction speed was faster and the response accuracy was higher.(2)The response time of the two groups of participants in the analytical decision is longer than the intuitive decision, and the response accuracy of the analytical decision is significantly higher than the intuitive decision.(3)In the incubation period of P1 component, there was a certain difference between positive emotional state and negative emotional state, but there was no significant difference between positive emotional state and negative emotional state. In terms of N1 index components, there is a certain difference in amplitude between positive emotion and negative emotion. The positive emotion state > negative emotion state is not significant.(4)Decision-making type has certain influence on both P2 and P300 components.Specifically, the P2 latent period of intuitive decision is longer than that of analytical decision, and the amplitude of P2 induced by analytic decision is larger than that of intuitive decision, but it is not significant. The P300 latency of intuitive decision making is significantly longer than that of analytical decision making.(5)In terms of P300 index components, there is a difference in latency between positive and negative emotional states, with positive emotional state > negative emotional state, but not significant. There was also a difference in the amplitude of positive emotion, but the amplitude of negative emotion was not significant. There is an interaction between different decision types and emotional states. For analytical decisions, the amplitude of P300 induced by positive emotional states is greater than that of negative emotions. For intuitive decision making, the amplitude of P300 induced by positive emotional state is smaller than that of negative emotion.Through the analysis of the above results, this study draws the following conclusions :(1)Positive emotion can improve the accuracy and response of sports decision-making,which supports the theory of positive emotion.(2)Compared with the novice group, the expert group participants invested more cognitive resources, and the information matching speed was faster.(3)The expert group was more conducive to making intuitive decisions in a positive emotional state, while the novice group was more conducive to making analytical decisions in a negative emotional state.
