Research On The Utilization Of Off-the-Ball Screen In The 2019-2020 NBA Final

With the rapid development of basketball in the world,the American Professional Basketball League(NBA),which represents the highest level of basketball in the world,is characterized by fast pace of attack and defense,intense physical confrontation and fierce defense,as well as rich skills and tactics and changeable playing methodsLet the world basketball organizations to study and learn,and with the world’s powerful basketball more and more attention to the offensive and defensive tactics,all kinds of offensive and defensive tactics system is also developing.As one of the most important offensive tactics in positional battle of basketball game,the no-ball screen occupies an important position in basketball tactics,and its importance cannot be ignored.This article USES the literature material law,questionnaire investigation,expert interview method,video observation,mathematical statistics,logic analysis and other research methods,with a 2019-2020 season NBA finals without ball cover cooperate as the research object,its use without the ball in the game screen with the time feature,regional feature,players position combination features,no ball screen after the attack way,without the ball screen coordinate effect features in-depth analysis and research.Cover based on many previous studies mostly focus on the ball with itself,this study combined with the feature of both teams overall team,tactical methods,characteristics and facing their defensive offensive players demonstration analysis,to explore the use without the ball with the characteristics of the cover with the squad,tactical methods,characteristics and offensive players face the relationship between the defense.this study the following conclusions:1.The use of off-ball cover and coordination tactics can create more opportunities for off-ball attack,make up for the team’s shortcomings of less strong attacking points and lack of scoring ability in single play,and improve the team’s offensive efficiency.2.The different attacking styles of players determine the different areas where the off-ball screen cooperation takes place.According to the attacking habits and characteristics of the players,we can design the cooperation of off-ball screen in specific areas at key moments to achieve specific tactical effects.3.The combination characteristics of off-ball screen personnel are determined by the configuration of inside and outside players in the team’s overall lineup and the different focus of inside and outside offensive tactics.According to the overall strength of the team inside and outside and the offensive characteristics of the main scorers to choose the appropriate combination of personnel without the ball screen can effectively play inside and outside advantages.4.The Lakers and Heat have roughly the same offense when using off-the-ball screens;One reason for the Lakers’ low number of off-the-ball screens overall is that the Heat use a lot of "2-3" zone defense;Different offensive characteristics of offensive players lead to different emphasis on inside and outside defense,and the offensive mode without ball screen cooperation will also have a huge difference.5.Use off-ball screen coordination to help teammates greatly delay the close defense of opposing defenders;In the team’s offensive tactics,if the three-point shooter is arranged to shoot from the bottom corner,it can effectively help teammates to get offensive space by helping them to do off-ball screen in the low post.In the face of the outside player to the inside player to screen the ball so that the inside player to get the opportunity to attack,not to take the outside player to change the defense,the outside player can choose to change the defense between each other.
