With the development of economy and society,psychological stress factors are increasing day by day,and mental disorders and mental behavior problems are increasing year by year.As of the end of September 2020,the number of people with severe mental disorders registered nationwide has reached 6.2 million.In addition to the large number,the recurrence rate of mental disorders has been high.The "China Health and Family Planning Statistical Yearbook 2016" shows that about one-third of patients relapse six months after discharge.The average recurrence time is six months,40.8% of them The patient relapsed one year after being discharged from the hospital.The high recurrence rate and high disability rate of mental disorders have caused a heavy burden.In 2020,the burden of mental illness in my country has risen to one-fourth of the country’s total disease burden.It can be seen that mental illness has become a serious social problem in our country.Therefore,carrying out practical research on rehabilitation services for mental disorders and exploring the methods and effects of social work intervention in the self-management of patients with mental disorders is of great significance for improving the quality of life of patients and promoting social harmony.The article takes K Hospital in Z city as the research point,and uses the quasiexperimental research design in the practical research method to carry out group practice in the psychiatric hospital.In terms of specific research methods,we adopt a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods,and use research tools such as questionnaire surveys,semi-structured interviews,and participation observations to understand the dilemmas faced by patients with mental disorders in self-management,and analyze the causes of the dilemmas.After understanding the plight of the client,the social worker,guided by the dominant perspective and social learning theory,carried out professional social work services for the experimental group from four aspects: medication compliance,medication management,symptom management,and self-efficacy.Throughout the service process,a comprehensive use of diversified skills such as experience sharing,providing information,and setting goals,has gone through clarifying disease awareness,stimulating superior discourse and narrative,and planning for the future to improve patient self-management capabilities.Finally,the summary results of the questionnaire data before and after the intervention show that the self-management ability of patients with mental disorders after intervention has been significantly improved.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the research process and practical process of social work intervention in the self-management of patients with mental disorders,and analyzes from the macro and meso levels,and puts forward relevant suggestions to further explore the feasibility of intervention in the self-management of patients with mental disorders.path.It is hoped that through the practical research of social work intervention in the self-management of patients with mental disorders,the ways and methods of social work intervention in mental rehabilitation will be explored,so as to provide a new perspective in line with local characteristics for the service system of mental health social work.
