Vocabulary teaching,as one of the main contents of Chinese international education,has always been the top priority of teachers’ lesson preparation.The research on vocabulary teaching method is also the focus of academic discussion.At present,there are relatively mature theoretical results and rich practical accumulation in the research of vocabulary teaching method offline.But with the change of social background and the development of Internet,online teaching mode has gradually come into the public’s view from the way of auxiliary teaching.From the existing online teaching records,we can find common teaching difficulties,including teachers’ inadequate supervision of students;students’ lack of attention;unexpected situations such as classroom jam,equipment failure and disconnection of network,as well as the rote application of teaching methods,etc.How to give full play to the advantages of the network platform in online teaching and how to carry out the migration and application of vocabulary teaching from offline to online effectively have become the focus of many online Chinese international education teachers.This paper takes the existing vocabulary teaching methods as the research object,that is,the holistic interpretation method and the analytical interpretation method.Through the methods of induction,interview and observation,combined with the author’s 8-month online Chinese international education experience in Wuhan Lingo Ace Education Technology Co.,Ltd.,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the online and offline vocabulary teaching methods.This paper summarizes how to combine the advantages of online teaching in vocabulary teaching method,and gives relevant teaching suggestions,including the instantaneity of resource index on the network platform,the simplicity and diversity of resource storage forms,the clarity and representativeness of teaching resources,the richness of online tools,and so on.At the same time,it also summarizes how to abandon the problems in the process of migration,and gives relevant teaching suggestions,including emphasizing the sufficiency of lesson preparation resources,the appropriateness of the use of material selection,the utilization of platform tools and so on.Finally,the author tries to design a teaching plan for the online vocabulary of a certain class,and carry out quantitative practice to form class records.At the same time,the author conducts interviews with students’ parents after class.Through the summary and analysis of the corresponding interview data,we reflect on the existing problems,and make improvement and perfection for many times to form interview records.And try to analyze how to optimize courses,how to migrate and apply online vocabulary teaching method on the platform of online network mode better.
