With the rapid development of the Internet and the widespread use of smart phones,new media platforms relying on its development have emerged one after another,and have gradually become an important channel for people to publish,disseminate and obtain information.New media in colleges and universities is an information exchange platform constructed and managed by the school.It provides an effective way for colleges and universities to show the image of the school and release school information.It is the development requirement to realize the modernization of education.How colleges and universities use the Internet to increase the influence of new media communication has become an urgent need for colleges and universities.solved problem.In order to improve the influence of new media in Colleges and universities,it is necessary to evaluate the influence of new media in Colleges and universities.On the basis of combing the relevant connotation,information communication and information ecology theory of new media in Colleges and universities,this paper firstly points out the problems existing in the construction of new media in Colleges and universities by analyzing the development status of the communication influence of new media in Colleges and universities;Secondly,the evaluation index system of university new media communication influence from the perspective of information ecology is constructed,and the entropy weight method is used to weight the index.The BP neural network evaluation model of university new media communication influence from the perspective of information ecology is used to train and simulate the sample data;Finally,taking colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province as a specific case,this paper analyzes the new media communication influence of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province from single communication influence and comprehensive communication influence,and puts forward the promotion strategies of new media communication influence of colleges and universities.The results show that:(1)there are deficiencies in the construction and evaluation system of new media platform in Colleges and universities.On the one hand,there are some problems in the new media platform of colleges and universities,such as the information content construction still needs to be strengthened,the supply and demand between the platform and users do not match,the integration development needs to be improved,and the communication means lack of expansion;On the other hand,the current evaluation index system is more focused on the communication effect,lack of users’ subjective feelings,external environment and other factors.(2)In the process of forming the influence of new media communication in Colleges and universities,the four dimensions of information,information people,information technology and information environment have an impact on the influence of new media communication in Colleges and universities.Among them,the index weight of information dimension is the largest,followed by information person dimension,and the index weight of information technology dimension is lower.(3)The error between the simulation results and the expected value is within a reasonable range.The trained BP neural network model can be used to evaluate the influence of new media communication in Colleges and universities.(4)Colleges and universities should optimize their new media information resources,strengthen the construction of new media subject,promote the integration of new media technology,and improve the new media information communication environment to enhance their new media communication influence.
