This study aims to investigate the overall status of social support, sense of security and pro-social behavior of primary school students in grades 5-6,as well as the relationship between the three, and to further explore whether social support and security group psychological counseling can improve pro-social behavior. This research consists of two parts.Research 1 used the Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS-CA),the Security Sense Scale(QS)and the Prosocial Tendency Scale to survey 495 primary school students in grades 5-6 to investigate the relationship between social support, security and prosocial behavior.Study 2designed a social support and sense of security group counseling program for primary school students in grades 5-6.Based on the results of study 1,60 students were randomly selected into the intervention group(30)and the control group(30).60 subjects were subjected to post-test,and the effect of group assistant intervention was explored through t-test and repeated measures analysis of variance. At the same time, the evaluation of 60 subjects’ head teachers was used as the data for other evaluation. The main conclusions of this research are as follows:1.The social support, sense of security, and pro-social behaviors of primary school students in grades 5-6 are all at a relatively high level, and there are significant differences in demographic variables such as whether they are an only child, whether their parents are divorced, where they were born, and their parents’ educational level.2.Except for openness and certainty of control, there are significant correlations among all dimensions of social support, security, and pro-social behavior.3.Social support has a positive predictive effect on the sense of security and pro-social behavior, and sense of security has a positive predictive effect on pro-social behavior, and the sense of security plays a part of mediating role in the influence of social support on pro-social behavior.4.After social support and security group psychological counseling, the level of social support, security and pro-social behavior of the intervention group was significantly improved, while the control group was basically unchanged. |
