A Study On The Relationship Between Parenting Style And Mobile Phone Dependence Of Junior Middle School Students

With the further upgrading of mobile communication technology and large-scale market demand,the upgrading speed of mobile phones is also faster and faster.In modern times,mobile phones do bring us a lot of convenience,from the call,communication,shopping,entertainment and even learning and other functions,these additional functions also plug in the mobile phone,which also provides a hotbed for modern people’s serious problem of mobile phone dependence.As far as junior high school students are concerned,their mobile phones are still in the stage of being a tool of self-control.According to the characteristics of semi dependence and semi maturity of junior high school students,this study introduces three variables: parenting style,general self-efficacy and resilience,aiming to explore the influence of parenting style on the level of mobile phone dependence and the mediating role of general self-efficacy and resilience.The research adopts the Chinese version of s-embu revised by Jiang Zhen and Lu Zhengrong(2010)and the general self-efficacy revised by Zhang Jianxin and Wang caikang(2001)Based on the cd-risc translated and revised by Xiao Nan and Zhang Jianxin(2007)and the mobile phone addiction tendency scale compiled by Xiong Jie,a convenience sampling survey was conducted among the students of grade one,grade two and grade three in three middle schools in Lu’an City and Bozhou City,Anhui Province.A total of 650 students were selected as subjects,and the questionnaires were distributed and collected.SPSS26.0 and Amos24.0 were used to make descriptive statistics,bias test,correlation analysis and mediating effect test on the collected data:(1)There are significant differences in the over protection of mother,father’s warm parenting style,mother’s warm parenting style and self-efficacy in the place of origin,and there are no significant differences in the average values of the other variables among different family locations;there are significant differences in the optimism dimension and psychological resilience of father’s rejection,self-efficacy and psychological resilience in gender,and there are no significant differences in the average values of the other variables between genders Differences.(2)Father’s refusal,mother’s refusal,father’s overprotection and mother’s overprotection were positively correlated with mobile phone dependence,while father’s warmth and mother’s warmth were negatively correlated with mobile phone dependence;Self-efficacy can negatively predict mobile phone dependence,and there is a significant negative correlation between them;There was a significant negative correlation between resilience and mobile phone dependence.(3)Resilience plays a partial mediating role between self-efficacy and mobile phone dependence.(4)Self-efficacy and resilience play a chain mediating role between father’s and mother’s refusal of parenting style and mobile phone dependence;Self-efficacy and resilience play a chain mediating role between father’s and mother’s warm parenting style and mobile phone dependence;Self-efficacy and resilience play a chain mediating role between parenting style and mobile phone dependence.
