Research On Present Situation Of Idol Worship In Primary School Student And Countermeasures Of Educational Guidance

With the diversification of social culture and the rapid development of information technology,the phenomenon of idolatry among primary school students is becoming more and more common.The types of idols and the ways of idolatry will have a far-reaching influence on primary school students whose outlook on life and values have not yet been shaped.A positive idolatry is of great significance to the growth of primary school students,if the psychological tendency of exaggeration and idolatry is formed,it will be disadvantageous to the physical and mental development of primary school students.At present,some problems have been exposed in the process of idolatry of primary school students,which cause the worry and perplexity of school and parents.Therefore,it is very important to understand the status quo of idolatry of primary school students,analyze the problems and causes of idolatry of primary school students,and put forward reasonable education and guidance countermeasures according to the causes.In this study,the students,some teachers and parents of students from Grade 3 to Grade6 in a primary school in Fuzhou,Fujian Province,were selected as the subjects,by using the method of questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the basic situation of idolatry of primary school students,the cognition and attitude of primary school students to idolatry,the behavior of primary school students to idolatry,the influence of primary school students’ idolatry and the guidance of teachers and parents to primary school students’ idolatry.Through the analysis of the collected factual data,we find that the following problems exist in the idolatry of primary school students: The entertainment of idolatry type,the marginalization of role models,the tendency of primary school students to be attracted by their idolatry appearance,and the need to improve their media literacy The teacher,the parents to the elementary school student idolatry guidance vacancy and so on.The causes of these problems involve society,schools,families and pupils,respectively:The influence of Mass Culture and mass media;the misunderstanding of moral and aesthetic education in schools;Psychological needs and characteristics of primary school students.In view of the above problems and causes,this study focuses on the education and guidance of idolatry of primary school students from the school perspective,and puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: following the psychological needs of students,conducting idolatry guidance reasonably;innovating the education form of model,to strengthen the role of role models and role models;to give full play to the value-oriented role of moral and aesthetic education so as to improve the level of appreciation of idols among primary school students;to strengthen media literacy education so as to improve the media appreciation of primary school students;and to make use of parent schools,raise the level of education and guidance of parents’ idolatry.
